Policies
Please note that I usually work at the child(ren)'s home. I do not take care of the children at my own home. If you have any special request on the aforementioned, please feel free to contact me. My main childcare policies are as follows:
"Communication with parents is a must"
It is very important for the parent(s) and I to communicate and keep an open dialogue regarding their child to ensure a consistent and smooth childcare. If I have any concerns with a child I will let the parent(s) know immediately. As a childminder, I will never force my values on the child. Hina's childminding is meant for all those who need childcare services, and I will do my best to support the parents in this regard.
"Give the children individual attention"
I will make sure that the children receive individual attention so they feel valued. I welcome each child with their own personality and attention needs and will interact with them accordingly to foster their well-being and growth.
“On an equal footing”
When we are communicating with children, we tend to praise, scold, and instruct children as adults from a higher status/standpoint. By doing so, the children may tend to do things only to get praised by the adults and not decide what they want to do by themselves. To avoid this, instead, I am trying to create an environment where I stand at the children level and where they can always talk about good things and bad things, and can actively work on various things without focusing on the adults' presence.
"Improvements, targets and ambitions"
Relying on my knowledge acquired with the childminder certification and through my upcoming childminding experiences, I intend to consistenly improve myself and my services. I aim to set a good example for the kids and always let the children be interested in new things while cultivating positive experiences.
